This unique selfcatering accommodation in Ireland
is a studio apartment, which sits above the river giving
fantastic views of Youghal Bay and The Blackwater River.
The Boat House is mid-way between
Cork and Waterford just off the N25, which gives guests
the opportunity to tour both Waterford and Cork. The
Boat House is south facing making the deck area a suntrap
and ideal for barbecues. Enjoy a glass of wine in the
evenings as you watch the fish jumping in the river
and the various types of birds flying past. While during
the day there are boats sailing up and down the river.
This exclusive studio is made from barrel wood both
outside and inside and blends in with the environment.
The Boat House sleeps two people, is open plan and furnished
to five star standard with a king size orthopaedic bed,
the kitchen area is equipped with a cooker, micro-wave,
fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster plus cooking utensils
etc. all china, cutlery and glass ware are provided.
Luxury bed linen and towels are supplied. A potbelly
stove keeps you warm in the cooler weather.
There is a bathroom with power shower, loo and hand
basin all toiletries are included. The utility room
has a washing machine, iron, ironing board, hairdryer
etc.
There is private secure car parking space. Welcome
pack for guests on arrival.
This lovely studio is ideal for those who want to get
away from it all for a romantic break without the children.
Boats may be hired near by and moored at the jetty in
front of the studio. The Boat House is secluded and
not suitable for the disabled or children as there are
stairs leading from the parking area down to the studio.
As the Boat House is near the river suitable foot wear
is advised.
Arrival time is between 3-4pm and departure must be
by 10.30am in order to facilitate cleaning. Any damage
to property, furnishings or equipment must be paid for.
There is a charge for electricity and gas.
